These are seconds of Macanudo and Partagas. What is a second? When the cigar rollers start rolling the cigars, they use the same wonderful filler from the Dominican Republic and Mexico, binder from Mexico, and wrapper from Connecticut, or Cameroon wrapper for the Partagas. When the product is finished and the high standards of the manufacturer are applied to the selection, small imperfections are found and those cigars then become "seconds." Essentially, the imperfections are cosmetic, but the tobacco used is the same as that used in the firsts. This has to be the "best kept secret in the cigar industry."
